Booking and Payment
• A non refundable booking fee is required to secure your date: $500 for Baby Just Say Yes, $1000 for Signature, and a tailored retainer for The Whole Production (percentage of overall cost, confirmed at consult).
• The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your wedding date.
• Payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, credit card, bank transfer or Afterpay.
• If payment is not received by the due date, I will make two follow up attempts. If unsuccessful, your booking may be cancelled at my discretion.
Pricing
• All prices are published in Australian dollars and reflect 2025/26 rates. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to a booking being confirmed.
• A booking is confirmed once the non-refundable booking fee has been received and the Celebrant has issued written confirmation.
• Once confirmed, the price stated in the booking confirmation is fixed and will not vary, regardless of any subsequent changes to advertised rates, increases in operating costs, or promotional offers made available to other clients
Rescheduling and Cancellations
• If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to accommodate your new date.
• If I am unavailable for the new date, your booking fee remains non refundable.
• If you cancel altogether, the booking fee will not be refunded.
• Any additional costs already incurred (such as travel or accommodation) are still payable.
Travel and Coverage Area
• I am based on the NSW Central Coast and regularly service Sydney.
• I happily travel beyond these areas. Travel fees and accommodation costs may apply for destination weddings and will be quoted in advance.
Ceremony Equipment
• All packages include access to my professional Bose S1 Pro+ PA system and Sennheiser wireless microphone.
• This setup is ideal for up to 100 guests. For larger weddings, additional sound equipment may be required at additional cost.
• If a custom audio setup is desired, professional audio hire or a sound engineer can be arranged at additional cost.
• In the event of adverse weather, I will assess if the equipment can be used safely. If not, the ceremony may proceed without amplification.
Vow and Paperwork Requirements
• I will guide you through the legal paperwork process.
• You must provide valid ID and, if previously married, evidence of divorce or death.
• If you cannot supply the required documentation, your marriage cannot legally proceed.
• You must provide two witnesses aged 18 or over on the day.
Photo and Media Release
• Unless you opt out in writing before your ceremony, you grant permission for me to use photos or video taken by me or provided by your photographer for promotional purposes (such as social media, website, advertising).
• I may request access to images taken by your photographer or videographer.
• To opt out, simply send me an email before your ceremony.
Mailing List and Contact
• By enquiring or booking, you consent to receiving occasional updates such as planning tips or follow ups.
• You can unsubscribe at any time.
Vendor Recommendations and Bookings
• Signature couples may access my personal list of trusted vendor recommendations.
• Whole Production couples engage me to source and book vendors on their behalf.
• You are under no obligation to use my recommended vendors.
• I am not liable for the services or performance of any third party providers, nor do I manage their payments unless specifically agreed under The Whole Production package.
Ceremony Timing and Delays
• If you or your guests are running late, I will do my best to adapt, but significant delays may impact my ability to proceed in full, particularly if I have other professional commitments.
• I will always try to make it work, but unlimited flexibility cannot be guaranteed.
Ethical Alignment
• I reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any ceremony that conflicts with my personal ethics or values, in line with the Attorney General’s Celebrant Code of Practice.
Wet Weather Plan
• If you are planning an outdoor ceremony, you must organise a suitable wet weather backup location.
• I will always do my best to adapt, but I cannot be held responsible for disruptions caused by venue changes, weather delays or unsafe conditions.
• If adverse weather affects the location or equipment safety, I may adjust the setup, proceed without amplification, or collaborate with the venue to move the ceremony.
Legal Eligibility to Wed
• By proceeding with the booking, you confirm both parties are legally able to marry under Australian law and meet the requirements of the Marriage Act 1961.
Intoxication Clause
• I reserve the right to delay or cancel the ceremony if either party appears intoxicated or incapable of giving legal consent on the day.
Insurance Coverage
• I am fully insured with public liability, professional indemnity and equipment insurance specific to celebrancy work.
• Certificates of Currency are available upon request.
Force Majeure
• If I am unable to officiate due to illness or injury, I will make all reasonable efforts to engage a trusted, qualified replacement celebrant from my professional network. If a replacement is not possible, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, including the booking fee.
• If your wedding cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances beyond either of our control (such as natural disaster, extreme weather, transport disruption or government restrictions), I will work with you to reschedule to a new date. All payments already made will be transferred to the new booking.
• While I will always do everything possible to ensure your ceremony goes ahead as planned, I cannot be held responsible for events that are truly outside my control.
